Over the past few weeks and using our strong domain knowledge in information assurance, security, network engineering, data-links, and streaming video technology, the 3SDL team has pulled out all the stops to support a short-notice requirement to enable live video streaming across an Army Training network. This work, which is entirely complementary to our current Airborne ISR and CAS emulation services, will provide a much-needed enhancement to British Army Mission Specific Training for Front Line Units preparing to deploy on live operations – it will enable units and commanders to have access to a real-time ISR feed, even when they do not have an organic Remote Viewing Terminal to receive the picture directly. This agile and dynamic approach to problem-solving and capability enhancement supports the overarching 3SDL ethos which is focussed on making a real difference on the front line.
