Late last year, 3SDL provided test support to the Royal Norwegian Navy during the final Sea Acceptance Trials of the newest addition to the fleet; HNoMS Thor Heyerdal.

Working alongside ships staff during a busy FLOTEX work-up period, the large Joint test team was drawn from Norway, UK and the US and was led by senior P6088 New Frigate Project staff, supported by several key members of the Bergen and Kjeller Systems office.

Fighter Control support was provided by 130 Air Wing (AW) Mågerø, Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) terminal support was provided by SPAWAR and AEGIS support was provided by Lockheed Martin. 3SDL was tasked by the Kjeller Systems office staff to support TDL operations
on-board the Thor Heyerdahl.
