Adopting Cyber Essentials
The Cyber Essentials Scheme outlines government recommended and GCHQ approved controls which every single organisation should adhere to when using IT to conduct their business. Since the roll-out of the scheme in 2014, Cyber Essentials has increasingly become mandatory requirements for any organisation looking to tender for some governmental contract with a particular data sensitivity, and for all MoD contracts.
Understanding the scheme and ensuring compliance can be very costly and painful without the right help. This 1-day course starts at £400 for individuals.
The course should be attended by IT staff, and any individuals with a specific responsibility for risk management or information security within an organisation.
