Intelligence Analysis & Fusion
This course will enable students to learn how to collate, evaluate and analyse multiple types of information before integrating and interpreting this information into usable intelligence. These objectives will be met through an understanding of the human aspects of intelligence and the way individuals make decisions. This knowledge will allow students to better understand the importance of intelligence and the significant effect this can have on an operational mission.
By the end of the course, students will be able to assimilate large and disparate types of information and intelligence together and make sound assessments on what is likely to happen next. They will do this through highly interactive course sessions and scenarios that focus on enemy intent and intelligence preparation. Students will then be able to help formulate Courses of Action alongside the Commander and become an integral element of the planning process.
Students should consider attending ISR Fundamentals alongside this course.
This is a highly interactive course. Students should have the ability to participate fully in debate and give assessments on complex situations. This course is open to individuals looking to expand their understanding of the entire intelligence domain and grasp the power of fused analysis.
