Having Been in embedded within the Royal Air Force as an instructor at the Air Warfare School, he continually contributed and participated in future force development exercises whilst maintaining an in depth level of Tri-service knowledge of both UK and NATO Doctrine. Frazer joined 3SDL as a Senior Consultant in October 2017.

Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Fundamentals

OVERVIEW

You will be immersed in the world of intelligence with an emphasis on how it is directed, collected, analysed and distributed. Made up of interactive presentations and tailor-made exercises you will gain a solid understanding of the ISR domain. The course will provide an understanding about how it enhances decision making and better enables Commanders to understand what courses of action may be available to them. It also places the role of platforms and sensors into context as part of an overall ISR solution that should be followed in order to gain mission success.

  • An operational introduction to ISR
  • How intelligence works – The Intelligence Cycle
  • Types and sources of Intelligence 
  • How intelligence is collected and managed
  • Effective processing and dissemination
  • Making assessments and Courses of Action (CoA)

TARGET AUDIENCE

This course is designed for individuals that have no background in ISR or those that work on the periphery of the ISR domain such as Project Managers or Engineers. This module is also critical as a baseline standard for those wanting to tackle more complex or specific subjects.
