Junior/Graduate and Senior Software Developer

We have an immediate vacancy for one junior/graduate level, and one senior software developer to join our rapidly expanding software team that provides a range of innovative defence software solutions.

Working within a small team, the role will require developing, maintaining and testing a range of software products utilising a range of languages and technologies.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated candidates, experienced in one or more of the following tools and technologies:

Cyber Security Consultants

3SDL is looking for highly-experienced, suitably-qualified and passionate Cyber Security consultants.

3SDL ensures that its highly effective cyber team have common values and purpose, do interesting and worthwhile work and gain the recognition, development and independence that they deserve. We can be flexible how you work (i.e. from home or from our Lincoln or Malvern offices) but you will be expected to work from client sites for a lot of your time. We will pay you a good salary (that is negotiable), ensure that you get 6 weeks leave as well as State holidays and invest in your professional development by giving you a training grant and 2 weeks training time every year. We expect a lot from you and you can expect a lot from us.

The successful individual will deliver Cyber or Information Assurance or Secure Architecture Design consultancy. They must be willing and able to travel to client sites and have experience in Security Assurance Coordination or Accreditation Support or Secure Architecture Design.

Any of the following are highly desirable and will increase your salary expectation:

Recent Cyber consultancy experience.

Recent experience as a security assurance coordinator

Recent experience of secure architecture design.

Recent CHECK Team experience.

ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

ISO27001 Auditor.

Certified Professional (CCP) scheme – either SIRA, IA Auditor or IA Architect roles at any level.

Membership of relevant professional bodies.

Due to the security needs of the position applicants must be UK nationals and able to pass higher level security checks. As this is a consultancy role the applicant must also be willing and able to travel so a valid driving licence is also essential.

Malvern Summer Cyber Graduate

3SDL is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Summer Cyber graduate based in our Malvern office. We are looking for a candidate in either College or University who is wanting to gain some experience in Cyber Security.

The Successful individual will cover a wide range of projects within the cyber sector. The main responsibilities will include supporting colleagues with the technical modelling of complex systems to aid cyber investigation processes.

Candidates will show some of the following qualities, with a view to further develop particular areas of expertise:

  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment effectively;
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly;
  • Insightful analysis of information;
  • Understanding of Cyber Security aspects;
  • Ability to engage with clients and stakeholders;
  • Excellent verbal communication and presenting skills;
  • Enthusiasm to develop Cyber Security knowledge

Desired experience and skills include:

  • Cyber/Security modules completed at university;
  • Previous work experience relevant to your degree of study is preferred
  • UK driving licence

In order to be successful in this position candidates have to be prepared to undergo UK government security vetting to gain security clearance, and therefore will require a UK citizenship.
